Rocker Beam suspension

Rocker beam suspension

The suspension for rough terrain.
When it's necessary to manage the vehicle on very uneven terrain, the bumps can lead the suspensions with interconnected axles to detach one of the wheels from the ground, with consequent overloading of the other; in these cases the use of a rocker beam suspension allows an optimal distribution of the load between the two sides, facilitating the stability of the trailer.

Advantages

  • Optimal for uneven terrains and with large bumps.
  • Large height gap of the wheels in the transversal direction.
Mechanical characteristics
  • Suspension with arms swinging around a central point.
  • Capacity from 6 to 30 tons.
